Puerta de San Vicente

The Puerta de San Vicente was the western gate of Madrid but the gate was moved and rebuilt during road improvements in the 1980s. The original gate was commissioned by King Carlos III in 1775. Puerta de San Vicente was formed of a major gate and two smaller side arches decorated with military symbols.

The Puerta de San Vicente is located to the west on Madrid on the Glorieta de San Vicente at the end of the Cuesta de San Vicente.
